Dear Anonymous,
Showing off the shirt he chose yesterday from what you donated. It fits. Feels good. Got his layers working and new boots. Thank you.
He speaks about his life in addiction. About climbing out of it. Remembering those days when taking care of that addiction was all he did.
He says, 'It's in God's hand to judge. You never, ever really know someones story.'
He takes an extra shirt, a pair of socks for the 'old man' up the street.
'I don't care if he remembers I do it or not. I've been there. I know what it's like. It feels really, really good to do something good for someone else. Keeps me alive out here.'
