I will not always ask for an opportunity to photograph.
Today I heard about one man's plans to go to church.
'They let me go through the Lost & Found and give the items out on the street.'
Perfect.
'I don't preach to anyone.', he continues. But I hear his attempts to live in service to others. Because it has not always been this way, I think I hear.
He actively redistributes any resources he obtains. Socks for this guy. A jacket for her.
I hear about some of the deep pains of his life. And his prides. And off he goes to church...bringing an extra piece of coffee cake to a mutual 'street' friend.
A bit of redemption. All around.
