Dear Anonymous,
Todd is showing me a coat that doubles as a sleeping bag and made for the streets. He was given this by a woman at the resource center; a woman he is very grateful for. He says the coat/sleeping bag works pretty well. On real cold nights he wears the coat and slips into a sleeping bag as well. Downside is that it is pretty bulky to carry around all day.
I handed out a couple sleeping bags that were recently donated and Todd came over to show me this option.
As we stand here, Charles walks by collecting bottles. They are friends out here and Todd says with a lot of love,
'Charles here is so old he used to babysit Moses.'
They laugh.
Some socks are handed out. Some coffee cards. A backpack or two.
